Brewing Perfection...

Beloved,

The art to brewing the perfect cup of tea has long been studiedĀ and speculated; how long should the perfect cup of tea brew, the drinkable temperature of perfectly brewed cup of tea, the necessary environment and condition for brewing the perfect cup of tea etc…

The most fascinating research though, is regarding how soon after drinking tea you experience the effects, perfectly brewed or not.

Just ten minutes…

Studies shave found that the profound healing benefits of a cup of tea are noticeable within 10 minutes.

Now if you are anything like me how long it takes to drink a cup of tea is very relative. Ask anyone in my family and they say it takes me an average of one to two days.

A full 24-48 hrs…

Why?

I often, with very good intention to do self care, will brew a cup of tea only to never return to it. It can be found left on the kitchen counter, on my night stand next to my bed and though really sad to admit, sitting in the microwave for its’ third re warm attempt only to be left in the cold again.

It’s actually a big running joke in my family.

But once I do have that cup of tea, refreshed of course, I am in heaven for the moment. Everything about life has paused (especially if it is Bergamot Earl Grey tea). And whether or not I am curled up with a good book or still staring at my laptop screen working away, with each sip I am sitting in my calm, it’s good.

Life gets busy and can get in the way …

As long as it takes to drink a cup of tea.

Perhaps just ten minutes.

And one thing is for sure…

As soon as you commit to it, you will experience the profound benefit, a shift.
